About Darwin’s coolest festival

Darwin Community Arts is producing a unique, adventurous and distinctly Darwin community festival. This Festival involves not only the whole Darwin community but also remote communities in the Northern Territory and engages an array of artists (visual artists, performers, graffiti artists, photographers). The event is the Darwin Fridge Festival. Yes Fridge!

The Festival is a salute to art, people and the humble fridge. Throughout October, community groups, businesses, artists and families are invited to decorate fridges, eskies and fridge magnets. This is supported with workshops by professional artists and culminates in exhibitions around Darwin.

This is such a uniquely NT Festival and has captured the curiosity, humour and passion of people around the country. We hope you can come along for the ride.
